Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Sketching the Snout

Pencil sketch of a rounded trapezoid shape forming the bull's snout and mouth area.

Start by drawing a rounded trapezoid for the bull's nose. Add a curved line across the bottom to define the mouth. Teacher's Tip: Keep your pencil lines light so you can easily adjust the shape if it looks a bit lopsided.

2

Defining the Nostrils

Drawing the bridge of the nose and two shaded oval nostrils on the bull's snout.

Draw two curved lines upward from the snout to create the bridge of the nose. Add small ovals on the snout and shade them in to create the nostrils. Tip: Use a darker pressure for the nostrils to make them pop.

3

Adding the Furrowed Brows

Adding the 'W' shaped brow line and a 'U' shaped curve above the snout.

Connect the bridge lines with a 'W' shape to form the bull's intense, furrowed brows. Add a wide 'U' shape above the snout. Tip: Think of this as giving the bull a 'determined' expression!

4

Drawing the Eyes

Sketching the side of the face and the bull's eyes with shaded pupils.

Extend curved lines from the snout to outline the face, then add the eyes between the nose and brows. Shade the top lines to indicate pupils. Tip: Keep the eyes symmetrical to maintain that classic logo look.

5

Forming the Ears

Adding the ears on the sides of the head and detail lines on the forehead.

Draw a curved line on each side of the face and double it back to create the ears. Add three small curved lines across the center of the brows for detail. Tip: Keep these lines fluid to show the bull's movement.

6

Closing the Head Shape

Closing the top of the bull's head with three connected curved lines.

Use three curved lines to enclose the top of the head in a quadrilateral shape. Tip: Imagine you are drawing a crown that sits right between the ears.

7

Drawing the First Horn

Drawing the first sharp, curved horn extending from the side of the bull's head.

Extend two curved lines from the corner of the head and the ear to meet at a sharp point. Tip: Make the horn look sturdy by ensuring the base is wider than the tip.

8

Drawing the Second Horn

Adding the second horn on the opposite side to complete the bull's head silhouette.

Repeat the process on the opposite side to create the second horn. Tip: Try to match the angle of the first horn so the logo looks balanced.

9

Finalizing the Horn Details

Adding small 'V' shaped detail lines near the tips of the horns.

Add a small 'V' shaped line near the tip of each horn for added dimension. Tip: This small detail makes the horns look more realistic and sharp.

10

Adding Color

The completed Chicago Bulls logo colored with red and white.

Bring your logo to life! Use a bold red for the face and keep the horns white with red tips. Tip: Use markers or colored pencils to get that vibrant, team-spirited look.
